SheppARTon Festival: Inspired

The 2010 SheppARTon Festival again presents a smorgasbord of cultural and artistic experiences to entertain and excite you over the first two weeks of March. This is our fourteenth Festival and now a well established and a highly anticipated community event. This year the Festival seeks to define the rich and diverse community of the Goulburn Valley by showcasing local and national artists. The 2010 Festival theme 'Inspired' celebrates our independent and culturally tolerant society and the creative ingenuity of negotiating and prospering in challenging times. 4-14 March 2010

Lara Food and Wine Festival

Join us in tasting the mouth-watering array of produce. All from our regions best gourmet food and wine producers. Bring a rug and picnic on the lawns of the historic Pirra Homestead. The festival features our celebrity hostess, Catriona Rowntree and celebrity chef Gabriel Gaté. Sunday 28th March, from 10am until 5pm.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Melbourne International Comedy Festival literally takes over Australia's comedy capital, Melbourne, each autumn with an enormous program of stand-up comedy, cabaret, theatre, street performance, film, television, radio and visual arts. 24th March - 18th April 2010

Moonlight Cinema - Botanic Gardens Melbourne

Moonlight Cinema is an outdoor cinema screening new release, classic and cult films on the sweeping lawns of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. SUMMER 2009/10 season runs until 14 March, so gather a group of friends and relax with a picnic as the sun goes down and the screen lights up. Gates open at 7pm and screenings start at sundown, approximately 8.30pm.
